Leaving early or arriving late.

Life happens and from time to time you will need to leave out or arrive late a couple hours into your work day.

#work-calendar in Slack or real time alert the Salon Manager . Ex: if a stylist habitually leaves early/arrives late, these hours can add up, and must be accounted for since it is impacting salon workflow.

If you leave early from the day before the last grace hour, this will be considered “leaving early/arriving late” and will be counted as hours to make up.

Day of Appointments (Grace hours): BEGINNING STYLISTS  thru LEVEL 5 STYLISTS

Grace Hours are granted for the first and last hour of the day only if no one has booked in those hours.  

Online booking allows for 2 hours before the open slot, so, it's possible someone can book for the 10am slot, late at night or early in the morning. If you wake up and find that the slot is still open and want to take the first hour for yourself, DM the Salon Coordinator in the #work-clander in  Slack, and they will block the time for you.  Like wise, 2 hours before the last hour of the day is when you can decide if you want to leave out early.  Example: if nothing is booked for your last hour on a Thursday (6pm-7pm), and by 4pm no one books for that hour, you can block out the last hour and leave at 6pm instead of 7pm.
